The ideal candidate, preferably a current band 8a pharmacist with critical care experience, will lead a dynamic team providing clinical pharmacy services in busy critical care areas. Key responsibilities include managing a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, participating in multidisciplinary ward rounds, monitoring drug expenditure, developing policies, and delivering training sessions to staff. The role requires the development of specialist knowledge in critical care medications and involves collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, patient-focused care.
