Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking a Band 4 Infant Feeding Community Nursery Nurse for a 2-year fixed-term position in West Bromwich. The ideal candidate should have a background as a Community Nursery Nurse, a passion for infant feeding, and a commitment to supporting families in their feeding choices, while also aiming for the service's Baby-Friendly Initiative (BFI) accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support parents in making informed infant feeding choices.
  • Collaborate with the Infant Feeding Team to deliver care to babies and families, prioritizing health and developmental needs.
  • Provide advice on low-level infant feeding issues.
  • Foster a positive breastfeeding culture and respond to requests for breastfeeding support.
  • Promote secure attachments between parents and infants through sensitive parenting practices.
