Band 4: £26,530 to £29,114 a year per annum, pro rata  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY 

MULTI-DISCIPLINARY ON-CALL
Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Practitioner to join their specialized Ophthalmic Theatre Team. This full-time role involves Monday to Friday day shifts, with additional on-call responsibilities. As a vital member of the surgical team, the Assistant Practitioner will perform circulating and scrub roles for a limited range of ophthalmic surgical cases, collaborating with Surgeons, Anaesthetists, Operating Department Practitioners, and Theatre Nurses to ensure safe and effective operations.

Key responsibilities include assisting in skin preparation, supporting patients during procedures, recording fluid measurements, and working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. The role requires a broad knowledge base and strong communication, literacy, and teamwork skills to contribute effectively to the theatre's smooth operation, including the safe handling of surgical instruments and materials.
