Band 7: £46,840 to £53,602 a year per annum  PERMANENT 
The Team Leader role has a clinical element and the post holder will hold a caseload, albeit reduced to reflect managerial responsibilities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational, dynamic and enthusiastic Team Leader for the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) Integrated Autism Service (IAS) Team. The Team are shortly moving to a new base at Ysbyty George Thomas in Treorchy but cover the whole of CTM Health Board.

The Integrated Autism Service (IAS) offers diagnostic assessment for adults and direct support for autistic adults and their parent/carers. The service also offers professional consultation, joint working, training, advice and support to all sectors who support autistic people.

The post holder will be an autonomous practitioner responsible for managing own workload in a manner that complies with NICE guidance principles, professional conduct standards and legislative requirements around neurodevelopmental services.

The IAS offers diagnostic assessment of autism in adults and time-limited post diagnostic interventions for autistic adults and their families (whodo not meet eligibility criteria for Secondary Care Mental Health and/or Learning Disability services). The service also offers professionalconsultation and engagement with every sector, in addition to delivering training around autism.

The Team Leader role has a clinical element and the post holder will hold a caseload, albeit reduced to reflect managerial responsibilities. Theywill undertake and/or contribute to adult diagnostic assessments and in partnership with other team members, develop and implement highlyspecialist interventions for autistic adults and their families.

The post holder will be responsible for delegating and monitoring caseload allocation of team members, providing line management supervisionto most team members, along with specialist advice and guidance to the team, multi-agency professionals, autistic adults and theirfamilies/carers as necessary.

The Team Leader will be expected to work in partnership with existing teams to strengthen relationships, co-produce resources, developtransition arrangements and explore opportunities for joint working.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
