CASELOAD MATERNITY MENTAL HEALTH NHS
The Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is offering a fixed-term, part-time position for a Community Mental Health Nurse within the Cheltenham Recovery Team, covering maternity leave for up to 11 months. Based at Leckhampton Lodge in Cheltenham, the role involves providing secondary mental health care to adults with severe mental illness and complex needs, in alignment with recovery and social inclusion principles. The nurse will manage a designated caseload, undertake assessments, and utilize IT skills and knowledge of relevant legislation, including safeguarding vulnerable adults and the Mental Health Act.

The position requires a community mental health nurse experienced in working with adults of working age and those with enduring mental health issues. The ideal candidate will assess and implement evidence-based interventions, fostering service users' abilities to remain in the community and ensuring care is provided in the least restrictive environment possible. The role also includes supporting clinical governance initiatives within the team. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed to accommodate the successful applicant.
