We have a fantastic job opportunity as a Health and Wellbeing Assistant at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT).

Health and Wellbeing is a proven, systematic, compelling approach for engaging the frontline staff and those who support them, so that they can influence, shape and provide the best possible services for our patients and service users.

The Health and Wellbeing Assistant will support the Health and Wellbeing Lead to share these approaches across the organisation. By planning and implementing communications campaigns to promote the approaches and sharing the successes of teams to increase engagement and uptake within LPT, the post holder will work closely with the Health and Wellbeing Lead to coordinate and support the spread of Health and Wellbeing across the Trust.

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual who is able to design and produce communications to engage staff. Organisation and administrative experience and skills are essential to the role. You will will need your own vehicle as you will be regularly attending and supporting Trust events across the County.

Job Description Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)

  • Support the Health and Wellbeing lead to plan, promote, and engage staff in Health and Wellbeing activities, inc. communications, projects and an annual schedule of events and sessions.
  • Create digital marketing campaigns for website and social media channels such as Twitter and Facebook, to promote Health and Wellbeing events and the Health and Wellbeing agenda.
  • Use advanced skills to design and produce media and presentations.
  • Create and maintain communication plans for the service, with Health and Wellbeing lead and log on to excel spreadsheet, logging and feeding back progress /concerns to the Health and Wellbeing lead.
  • Present communication plans and data/metrics of engagement activity, social media activity and other metrics to the Trust Health and Wellbeing sponsor group.
  • Provide ad-hoc admin support to provide staff with support across the Trust and ensure the smooth running of operations.
