The role of Specialist Paediatric Dietitian – Eating Disorders at Barts Health NHS Trust in London offers an opportunity for an enthusiastic dietitian to join a multidisciplinary team focused on providing high-quality care for children and young people with eating disorders. The position involves working within the Community Eating Disorders Service for Children and Young People (CEDS) across East London, specifically in the boroughs of Tower Hamlets, City and Hackney, and Newham. The successful candidate will participate in the assessment and treatment of patients, deliver dietetic training, and collaborate with various health professionals to develop care plans.

In addition to primarily managing outpatient cases, the role will include gaining experience in other paediatric specialties, conducting nutritional assessments, and engaging in evidence-based practice through regular training and audits. The dietitian will also be involved in enhancing the service’s dietetic offerings and could participate in group sessions that address both individual and collective needs of children and their families dealing with eating disorders.
