This is a high profile role within the Chief of Staff Directorate, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of successfully delivering change management programmes, a robust and up to date knowledge of employment law and overall expertise as a trusted advisor to board level colleagues. A new and exiciting opportunity has arisen at SEL ICB for an Associate Director of Human Resources (HR), Organisational Development (OD) and Recruitment.
This role will lead the ICB's HR Business Partnering function, OD and Recruitment teams, fostering a team culture of inclusion, innovation, continuous improvement and integration. In addition, this role will line manage the Recruitment Hub Lead for the hosted recruitment service (across SEL ICB as well as SWL and NEL ICBs). The role will take the lead on key workforce projects internally and externally in advancing the ICB's people processes. They will have regular contact with the south east London ICS workforce team, who may also set priorities for this postholder.
As a key member of the Chief of Staff's senior management team, this role will contribute to the design, development and implementation of all the ICB's people-related strategies and plans, in line with the ICS-wide People Strategy and the NHS People Promise. The successful postholder will ensure that the ICB is supported by a highly capable team of business partners, in the HR, OD and recruitment fields, to support delivery of customer focussed solutions, through streamlined and value-adding services. The role will require someone with the skills to provide direction and support to ensure people-function related audits (internal/external) are organised as required. This includes the arrangements for the audit, provision of all required documentation and ensuring all recommendations from audits are responded to and changes implemented as required.
In addition, the postholder will be the ICB's account manager/relationship manager for relevant support services, including the Workforce Information and Payroll service (WISP), the Occupational Health service and the EAP, holding these services to account against agreed KPIs.
