The Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Sister/Clinical Educator for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Children's Services. This role is designed for an experienced paediatric nurse who is passionate about education and providing high-quality care. The successful candidate will join the Children's and Young Persons Unit (CYPU) and the Paediatric Emergency Department, focusing on delivering clinical education and training to both registered and non-registered staff. Responsibilities include developing training programs, conducting ward-based training and simulation sessions, and planning a comprehensive induction program for newly qualified nurses.

Candidates should possess excellent communication and coaching skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team. Organisational skills and flexibility to adapt to clinical needs, such as increased ward pressures or staff sickness, are essential. The position requires a commitment to supporting staff development and ensuring high standards of evidence-based training and nursing care for children and families.
