The Senior Mental Health Worker - Ageless position at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust in Bridgwater is tailored for experienced Mental Health Nurses (RMN) and non-medical prescribers (NMP) focusing on Community and Older Adult Mental Health. This role entails leading assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of intervention strategies for individuals aged 18 and above, particularly those with complex needs associated with older age. The post-holder will manage a caseload, provide specialized clinical supervision to other staff, and foster collaborative relationships with primary care, neighbourhood teams, and voluntary sector services to ensure comprehensive care and support.

The successful candidate will promote best practices in mental health treatment, conduct health education sessions, and ensure that the needs of both patients and their carers are met.
