Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking four Senior Support Workers for the Cambeck Close short breaks service in Bury. The role involves providing high-quality support and care to children and adults with learning disabilities, including those with autism, while engaging with service users, families, carers, and a multidisciplinary team. Senior Support Workers will act as role models, supervise other support staff, and contribute to ongoing assessments and care planning to ensure person-centered support in a compassionate environment.

In addition to delivering effective care, the Senior Support Workers will manage their own workloads, communicate vital information clearly across all levels, and ensure adherence to relevant care standards and Trust policies. The role includes monitoring health and wellbeing, administering medication safely, and fostering a culture of open communication for staff to voice concerns. Applicants should possess excellent interpersonal skills and a strong foundation in holistic care approaches for individuals with learning disabilities.
