The Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Oncology Medical Secretary for the BSC department at Birmingham Children's Hospital. The role demands a self-motivated individual with strong organisational and communication skills, who is capable of managing multiple consultants' workloads and has experience in waiting list management. Candidates should have an RSA/OCR level II qualification or equivalent, and while an AMSPAR Diploma or prior medical secretarial experience is preferred, strong teamwork abilities and a passion for patient care are essential for success in this position.

In this key role, the Medical Secretary will oversee inpatient and outpatient waiting lists, schedule patient appointments, organize consultants' diaries, and assist with administrative tasks such as minute-taking and correspondence.
