Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS FT is seeking experienced General Practitioners to join their Bank team within the Adult Community Service Division. The position, located at the Care Coordination Centre (CCC) in Priestley Wharf, involves triaging patients, assessing their needs, and advising clinical teams on appropriate services, including Virtual Wards and Urgent Community Response programs. Applicants are expected to have a solid understanding of clinical services in the Birmingham and Solihull region and possess the ability to review patient records and engage with patients when necessary.

The Adult Community Service Division are looking to recruit experienced GPs to join the BCHC Trust Bank. Applicants will have a good knowledge of clinical services available across BSOL and a good understanding of the services that we offer e.g. Virtual Wards, Urgent Community Response (UCR), Early Intervention Community Teams etc.

The role will be based within the Care Coordination Centre (CCC) at Priestley Wharf for a short term period.

The role will involve triage of patients from the CCC and making decisions on the appropriate service they require.

This will involve providing advice to the clinical teams based at the CCC by reviewing clinical records and if required, speaking to the patient and have clinical oversight of patients in the services.
