Proudly delivering GP out-of-hours and Extended Access to the population of Gateshead, Urgent Primary Care are looking for new GPs to join our excellent team.
Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced GP, joining our friendly and supportive team will provide opportunities for ongoing career development enhancing your skills and areas of interest.
We benefit from working closely with five local PCNs and the practices within each PCN, creating a wealth of strong clinical knowledge and leadership.
The population we serve is diverse with scope to develop interests in a variety of areas. We are passionate about giving all our staff opportunities to develop and progress their career and prioritise staff health and wellbeing.
We are looking for Gps to cover the following shifts / days:
15:00 - 19:00 - Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
18:00 - 00:00 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
00:00 - 08:00 - Monday - Saturday nights
Saturday and Sunday - various shifts available
Interviews will take place on Tuesday 5 November 2024
As a key member of the team, the Salaried GP will work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical colleagues, dealing with a wide range of primary care presenting health care needs. The clinician will work with clinical and operational colleagues in ensuring the highest standards of care for all presenting patients.
The salaried GP will be an integral part of a dynamic work force which will have to be flexible to meet the needs of the patients. You will be required to work at locations through Gateshead, both in and out of hours and undertake a variety of different assessments (telephone advice, home visits and/or centre visits) during the same shift.
