We are looking to recruit a motivated and suitably experienced Administrator to work within the Integrated Community Response Service who can remain calm in often busy and demanding situations. This role will enable you to consolidate your existing skills and develop new ones, alongside demonstrating excellent communication skills and a professional manner. You will need to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, accurate data inputting skills and an enthusiastic approach. Previous NHS experience is desirable however not essential.
The Integrated Community Response Service aims to prevent hospital admission and supports early discharge of patients following acute admission. We are a dynamic team comprising of doctors, nurses, therapists, support staff, social worker, handyman and business support, which functions seven days a week, 365 days a year. You will be expected to participate in a rota covering the service hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
Prioritise and respond to enquiries and correspondence via telephone and email using own initiative
Work alongside the team's daily clinical co-ordinator to manage the team caseload and demand, action new referrals in the appropriate timescale, monitor discharges from hospital and manage the team email account
Maintain the team SystmOne caseload information in real time. Ensure all referrals are entered correctly to support data collection and reporting
Responsible for stock checking and ordering
Organise room bookings, meetings and courses as required
Support the smooth day to day running of the office ensuring the environment is safe, tidy, and well organised and follows the trust clear desk policy. All office related issues should be reported to estates/ IT in a timely manner.
Support with any other task requested by the Clinical Lead Administrator / Clinical Service Manager / Business Manager
