The Phlebotomist will operate with minimal supervision, following an approved training course, and will respond to phlebotomy requests in the Primary Care Setting under the guidance of a Phlebotomy Supervisor and Manager. While prior phlebotomy experience is not required, the position may involve additional health checks, such as blood pressure monitoring. We are looking to recruit a trained/untrained Phlebotomist to join our team. For this role it is necessary that you are a caring and courteous individual that can work under pressure in a challenging environment You will be responsible for carrying out venipuncture working across the Trafford/Manchester Footprint for patients in their own homes, Care/Nursing homes, and in clinics to meet service needs, as such it is essential that you have a full UK driving license and a vehicle insured for business use.

The phlebotomist will work with minimal clinical supervision and without direct supervision following completion of an approved training course.
As part of an ongoing development programme/Job description the clinician may be required to provide Health care checks e.g. Blood pressure monitoring, Height and weight checks.
