Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Locum Consultant Radiologist specializing in Breast Imaging for a fixed term of 12 months at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. The position aims to strengthen the Breast Services, addressing both symptomatic and screening needs. The successful candidate will join a team of four existing Breast Radiologists within a department of 46 NHS radiologists and will play a key role in providing support for the Sheffield Breast Screening Service, conducting interventional diagnostic procedures, and participating in general radiology activities.

Candidates will have the option for tailored on-call commitments, with the current rota being 1 in 14. The post offers flexibility for those unable to work full-time, as modifications to job content can be discussed. Collaborating closely with other team members, the appointee will ensure high-quality imaging services while maintaining continuous patient care and departmental responsibilities. The role operates under the national consultant contract terms and emphasises diversity and equality in the workplace.
