The Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join their Community Recovery Service for Older People (CRSOP), working one day a week (0.2 sessions). The role involves providing specialized psychological assessment and treatment to older adults with mental health difficulties, as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) that emphasises group work and individualized support. The psychologist will offer consultation on complex cases, develop group programs, supervise trainees and junior psychologists, and engage in quality improvement initiatives within the service.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in psychological assessment and treatment, demonstrating the ability to autonomously formulate management plans for clients with diverse and challenging needs. They will also participate in interdisciplinary collaboration, delivering therapy using various modalities such as CBT, ACT, and EMDR while contributing to a trauma-informed and anti-discriminatory practice environment. Continuing Professional Development opportunities are available, and applications from Band 7 candidates seeking preceptorship will be considered.
