The Band 6 Deputy Theatre Manager/Advanced Theatre Practitioner role at Birmingham Dental Hospital involves providing leadership and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in the theatre environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full theatre pathway, including clerking, scrub nursing, anaesthetics, and recovery, as well as advocating for patients' rights and preferences. They will lead a multi-disciplinary team, deputize for the Theatre Manager when necessary, and assist in maintaining stock and equipment, while adhering to professional conduct regulations as per NMC/AODP standards.

Additionally, the post holder will focus on the effective management of the theatre team, ensuring optimal use of funded theatre time and monitoring productivity. They will provide clinical and operational management support, handle staff performance issues, and maintain health and safety protocols.
