Cygnet Health Care is seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant / Housekeeper for a part-time position (24 hours per week) at Cygnet The Oaks in Yorkshire and Humber. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment for individuals in a 35-bed facility that specializes in high support inpatient rehabilitation for men. The successful candidate will work on a rolling rota from Monday to Friday, ensuring cleanliness through daily and weekly cleaning regimes, stock maintenance, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Candidates should have experience in domestic work and possess good communication skills, with knowledge of COSHH regulations being desirable. About us
We are looking for an outstanding Housekeeper/Domestic Assistant with a passion for making a difference to others.

You'll be working part time 24 hours a week (8am - 4pm covering 3 days on a Monday - Friday rolling rota) at Cygnet The Oaks, helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.

Cygnet Oaks is a 35 bed service specialising in high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) for men, providing a multi-disciplinary treatment programme designed to assist individuals with their return to independent living.

Depending on the individuals level of need, at Cygnet Oaks we provide different levels of support in 2 wards, the Lodge and the House;

Lodge this is a 20 bed admission ward where most service users will start their recovery journey at Cygnet Oaks. Individuals who are admitted to this ward are generally stepping down from an acute or a low secure service

House a 15 bed service for individuals to continue along their care pathway. The Lodge also contains a 4 bed step-through service. This is situated in its own corridor and has a separate living space to prepare and develop individuals towards a community placement whilst still having input from the multi-disciplinary team (MDT).

Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness

Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes

Maintain & replenish stock and ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained
