Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager for Pine Ward, a 20-bed acute mental health unit in Southport. This role involves supporting the Clinical Team Manager in delivering high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions, requiring strong resilience, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for both clinical and managerial duties, facilitating continuity of care, implementing integrated care pathways, and ensuring adherence to professional standards, including record-keeping and medication management.

The Deputy Ward Manager will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, offering support to service users and their families while promoting a respectful and dignified environment.
