The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking a Highly Specialist Podiatrist to join their dynamic Podiatry Services team, which comprises around 60 staff and operates across multiple sites, including community clinics and patients' homes. This role emphasises clinical excellence and invites candidates who are passionate about professional development, as the organisation prioritizes CPD, postgraduate education, and evidence-based practice. The position requires strong communication and leadership skills, with responsibilities including managing a complex clinical caseload, providing high-quality podiatric treatments, and acting as a liaison with community healthcare providers.

The successful candidate should be adaptable to extended opening hours and may work on a full-time or part-time basis within a comprehensive rotational scheme. Key duties involve comprehensive patient assessments, developing care plans to support community living, and maintaining leadership of the Safe at Home Portfolio. This role is an opportunity to grow within an award-winning service, contributing to the training of future healthcare professionals while ensuring safe and effective patient care. Fluency in Welsh is desirable, but candidates who speak either Welsh or English are welcomed to apply.
