The Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Skin Cancer Pathway Navigator to support specialist nurses in enhancing early diagnostics and treatment pathways for patients with skin cancer. This primarily administrative role involves coordinating communication between patients, GPs, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless scheduling of appointments, diagnostic tests, and treatment operations. The successful candidate will provide essential non-clinical information and emotional support to patients throughout their cancer journey, reducing anxiety and improving overall patient experience.

In collaboration with Clinical Nurse Specialists, the Pathway Navigator will coordinate patient care, identify individual needs, and assist in the creation of educational resources. The role offers an opportunity for Registered Nurse Associates to contribute their skills while allowing for future development. Key responsibilities include maintaining regular communication with patients, ensuring they are informed and prepared for their medical appointments, and directing complex clinical queries to the appropriate nursing staff for assessment.
