The Healthcare Assistant role at First Community Health and Care in Redhill is a 12-month fixed-term contract within the Responsive Services team, which includes various support services like the Virtual Ward and Urgent Community Response team. The primary responsibilities involve assisting patients in their homes, particularly those who have experienced falls, by helping them with rehabilitation activities, safety checks, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary team members such as clinicians and therapists.

Candidates must be able to drive and have access to a car due to the nature of the service area, as public transport is not an option. The position requires effective time management and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, with a focus on enhancing patients' independence and achieving their rehabilitation goals. The service operates year-round from 08:00 to 20:00, requiring flexibility in scheduling.
