Job Summary: Medicines Optimisation Pharmacy Technician - NHS Sussex ICB, Lewes
NHS Sussex ICB is seeking a registered and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join their Medicines Optimisation Team (MOT) in Lewes. The role focuses on promoting safe, cost-effective prescribing and addressing health inequalities within the community. Candidates should possess an NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent, along with General Pharmaceutical Council registration.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the MOT in implementing strategies that improve population health and reduce healthcare disparities.
  • Utilize data analysis to prioritize and guide the medicines optimisation strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with primary care networks and practice teams.
  • Provide both remote and hands-on support, building professional relationships.
  • Act as a practice supervisor for trainee pharmacy professionals.
Work Environment:
