The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated "Reducing Restrictive Practice Practitioner" to join their newly established reducing restrictive practice team. This role involves enhancing clinical teams' understanding of the factors related to dysregulated and challenging behaviors, promoting compassionate, patient-centered care without reliance on aversive methods. The successful candidate will deliver training and support clinical teams in implementing learned strategies effectively within the healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities include assessing patient needs, providing positive behavior support, and developing person-centered care strategies. The practitioner will collaborate across various trust sites to align training with national guidelines and ensure adherence to trust policies.
