The role of Staff Nurse at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust involves working in a 38-bed Intermediate Care Unit, catering to patients who require support in their recovery after an acute episode but are not yet ready to return home. The nursing team, consisting of Registered General Nurses (RGNs), Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs), healthcare assistants, and rehabilitation specialists, focuses on maximizing patient potential and ensuring their safe transition back to their home environment. The position requires a collaborative spirit and offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to patient pathways, enabling progress and providing support through setbacks, in a setting that has received an "Outstanding" rating in a recent CQC inspection.

As part of a 24-hour service, the Staff Nurse will participate in internal rotations and contribute to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
