The Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Band 7 Specialist Nurse in ADHD to join their Neurodevelopmental Services team. This full-time, permanent role involves working across various community settings within a supportive multidisciplinary environment, primarily focused on the assessment and management of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectral Disorder (ASD). The ideal candidate should possess independent/supplementary prescribing qualifications (V300) and have a strong commitment to child and family-centered care, collaborating closely with healthcare, educational, and social care professionals.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, prescribing ADHD-related medications, engaging in family-centered care practices, and providing guidance to children, families, and professionals. The Specialist Nurse will also lead initiatives for parent education, ensure continuity of care during transitions to adult services, and participate in clinical governance and quality improvement efforts.
