The Gloucester-based role of "Neonatal Clinical Educator, Band 6" at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced nurse dedicated to enhancing neonatal care and staff training. The incumbent will facilitate the ongoing development of the neonatal unit's workforce, ensuring that education aligns with service priorities and clinical best practices. Responsibilities include coordinating induction training for new hires, supporting the evaluation of learning objectives, and providing educational resources, while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to promote effective patient care and staff competence.

As a key member of the Neonatal Clinical Education team, the educator will model best practices, assist in developing staff through training and supervision, and engage in policy development for patient care. Additionally, the role encompasses mentoring duties, monitoring the well-being of staff, and delivering educational programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organisational skills, demonstrate a proactive approach to change, and hold a commitment to providing evidence-based education in the neonatal setting.
