The role of CWT (Cancer Waiting Times) Patient Tracker at Northampton General Hospital involves supporting the Cancer Services team to ensure timely management of patients through the suspected cancer pathways. The selected candidate will be responsible for tracking patient progress from initial consultation through to treatment, liaising with various departments and staff to ensure that all appointments, diagnostics, and MDT meetings are scheduled promptly to meet cancer targets. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records, participating in PTL meetings, and contributing to cancer databases for data collection and audit purposes.

Successful applicants should possess strong communication and IT skills, with a proactive and organized approach to work. While experience in CWT and MDT processes is preferred, the role also emphasises the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to patient confidentiality and a genuine passion for patient care are essential attributes for candidates in this role, along with flexibility and the willingness to support their colleagues as needed.
