An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Education Trainer to join our Post Registration team, based at Ipswich Hospital.
You will be helping to support bands 2-4 clinical staff as well as supporting the wider education team. This post is full time and applications are welcomed from health care support workers from an AHP, Midwifery or nursing background.
This post will consist of classroom teaching of clinical skills, induction, care certificate and our 12-month development programme for Bands 2-4.
You will be supporting the assessment of care certificate standards and clinical skills, providing support to band 2-4 staff within their clinical areas. You will be expected to provide pastoral support and signposting to a range of well-being health services as relevant.
You will need to be self-motivated, displaying current high-level skills in clinical work. You will have confidence in presenting learning content in an engaging manner, both face to face and through virtual platforms. Passion to develop and support others is essential combined with the ability to build relationships rapidly.
You will be an excellent networker and able to confidently liaise with all non-medical professional staff groups to support learning as many of our programmes are multi-disciplinary.
While this post is Ipswich based, there may be travel required and a need to support the teams on either Colchester site or within the community.
