MPFT has a hugely successful longstanding S75 partnership agreement with Staffordshire County Council. We operate as a 'One Staffordshire' Adult Social Care senior leadership team across the partners, with the beneficial arrangement of having a joint post of Director of Adult Social Care & Assistant Director of Adult Social Care & Safeguarding spanning the two partner organisations. The partners promote a strong emphasis on integrated ways of working, forging links within local communities to provide an outcome focused, person centred service as we operate within an integrated care system. Accountable to the Head of Adult Social Care the post holder is responsible for the effective management and delivery of the agreed strategic direction within the service area. This is a dynamic post that requires considerable freedom to act that involves the post holder to work closely with commissioners, senior staff internally and externally in addressing a range of care/support policy, process and practice issues, enabling individuals to remain in their own home through the promotion of independence; preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and safe and timely discharges improving the health and wellbeing of the population served.
Working in partnership with the "One Adult Social Care" Senior Leadership Team in formulating the strategies for Adult Social Care Services. Responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality and effective care throughout the Service.
You will be working as part of a well-established & supportive Adult Social Care senior leadership team in one of the largest integrated health & social care community providers. Leading on working collaboratively in an effective way, you will ensure that the duality of the S75 Partnership Agreement requirements & Care Group's integrated services mission are delivered. This includes implementing a range of objectives in an outcome focused & timely way, ensuring at all times that S75 statutory & regulatory duties are fully observed.

On appointment, the post holder will be auto-enrolled in the SWLA and aligned to the appropriate British Association of Social Work Professional Capabilities Framework. The relevant SWLA stage (i.e. stage 1 (ASYE), 2 (Social Worker) or 3 (Advanced Social Worker) will also be agreed taking all prior Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and relevant experience into consideration.
