The role of Staff Nurse - Sanderson Suite at St Helens Hospital involves providing high-quality pre and post-operative care and emotional support to day case surgery patients in a nurse-led unit. Candidates should possess significant post-registration experience in an acute surgical setting and possess extensive surgical nursing knowledge. Responsibilities include conducting holistic assessments, managing individual patient care needs, and ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices. Additionally, the nurse will participate in teaching and training staff and students, maintain accurate patient records, and engage in research or special projects as directed.

Working hours include a requirement to be available on Saturdays as per duty rota.
