The Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Nursing Associates to join their Community Respiratory Service in Newhaven. The service provides support and management for patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and other respiratory conditions in their homes, offering care plans, pulmonary rehabilitation, and long-term condition management. The Nursing Associate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering care within their competencies and contributing to patient care planning, while also recognizing when to escalate concerns to a Registered Nurse or GP.

Candidates should have completed, or be in the process of completing, an NMC-approved Nursing Associate program and must be registered or in the process of registering with the NMC. A full UK driving license and access to a car are required due to the geographic scope of the role. New hires will participate in a preceptorship program, receiving dedicated clinical supervision and support as they integrate into the team.
