Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic Band 5 nurses to join their General Paediatric Ward, Neptune, which accommodates children aged 0-16 with a variety of acute and chronic conditions, including respiratory, neurological, dermatological, and infectious diseases. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care, assessing and planning individualised care, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. The hospital offers extensive training opportunities in areas such as intravenous and central venous access care, child and adolescent mental health, and oncology, alongside continuous professional development programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that nursing practice meets Trust and CQC standards while maintaining professional behavior in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) guidelines. They will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff, coordinating clinical activities, administering medication safely, and contributing to a safe working environment for patients and staff. The role emphasises the importance of effective communication and adhering to the Trust values while supporting young patients and their families in their care journey.
