The South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Specialist Orthodontic Nurse to join their Head and Neck Centre. This role is essential in providing specialized nursing support to orthodontic consultants, staff grades, and therapists within a multi-specialty service that includes Maxillofacial surgery and ENT. The successful candidate will assist with various dental and orthodontic procedures, support new patient assessments, and provide pre- and post-operative care. The position requires the ability to work independently while contributing to the team, preparing necessary materials and instruments, and potentially performing dental radiography and monitoring sedation patients.
