The Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Practitioner to join their Community Mental Health Team in Bridgwater. Ideal candidates will be Registered Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, or Occupational Therapists who are enthusiastic about contributing to the transformation of mental health services in Somerset. This role involves managing a caseload of adult patients, focusing on monitoring mental states, promoting independence and social inclusion, and supporting recovery to reduce hospital admissions. The position offers a supportive and collaborative environment, with no weekend work required, as the team operates Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

The Trust emphasises professional growth, providing mentoring, supervision, and various training opportunities, including leadership programs and therapeutic techniques such as CBT and DBT. Additionally, practitioners will have the chance to work closely with community and inpatient teams, fostering comprehensive patient care. Candidates must have a full driving license and access to a vehicle for patient visits, with expense claims available.
