We have an exciting 6 month secondment.or fixed term contract opportunity for a skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to work in the Ilfracombe Community Rehabilitation Team,

The post holder will provide highly specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients and their carers; seeing patients with a wide range of acute and chronic cases, some having highly complex presentations.

The role involves providing clinical leadership, development and governance in relation to the clinical area and supporting other clinicians regarding patient treatment and management. Whilst in post the holder will work with the therapy manager to lead and develop the service in line with patient need and trust wide developments and to help provide an equitable service across the Trust.

To meet the needs of the service, the post holder may be required to work in other areas as appropriate as directed by the line manager.

We are looking to recruit a Band 7 Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist to work within the Ilfracombe Community Rehabilitation Team. You would be based at the Tyrrell & District Hospital in Ilfracombe and work within a catchment area that stretches from Ashford to Exmoor including Braunton, Ilfracombe and Lynton.

You will work alongside other Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist and Rehabilitation Support Workers within a friendly and supportive team, seeing patients with a variety of acute, long term and palliative conditions within their own homes


Working Pattern:
37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8:00 to 16:00
