Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist/Psych Therapist for their Inpatient Forensic Psychology team at the Bracton Centre in Dartford. The role involves delivering psychological therapies to individuals on an acute medium secure ward, focusing on cases involving psychosis, complex trauma, and co-occurring issues such as substance dependency and neurodevelopmental disorders. Key responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments and interventions, engaging with families, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and promoting a therapeutic environment that supports safety and change. Additionally, the role includes contributing to the community psychology service, supervising assistant psychologists and trainees, and being involved in various educational and professional development opportunities.

Candidates who are newly qualified or nearing qualification are encouraged to apply, and prior experience in secure or forensic services is not mandatory.
