Band 4: £26,928 to £29,551 a year per annum pro rata  FIXED TERM  GOOD SALARY

This is a fixed term/secondment post until 30/10/2025.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated support worker to join our occupational therapy service in Carmarthenshire for a 12 month fixed term/secondment.

You will become part of our dynamic and friendly occupational therapy team, supporting Occupational Therapists in delivering an integrated model of care that promotes faster recovery from illness, supports timely discharge from hospital, prevention of unnecessary acute hospital admission and premature admission to long-term residential care, and maximises independent living.

You will work with others in the team in supporting individuals to achieve what matters to them.

You will have experience of working with patients with complex healthcare or rehabilitation needs and should be able to demonstrate clinical reasoning skills to enable you to assess and treat individuals within protocols without immediate direct supervision.

The successful applicant will have the support of an occupational therapy service which values supervision, actively encourages staff to develop personally and professionally, and is committed to excellent patient care and service improvement.
