The Finance / Payroll Assistant position at Badger Group in Birmingham is a full-time role requiring a proactive and adaptable individual with strong communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for supporting the finance function, including tasks such as using SAGE Line 50 for administration, managing payroll runs via SAGE Payroll, pension administration, holiday pay calculations, and responding to supplier statements. The role also involves invoice processing and ensuring adequate coverage for other team members' duties during absences.

Candidates should have previous experience in finance and payroll, possess a solid understanding of basic accounting procedures, and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively within the team. A salary of £25,582 to £28,129 per annum is offered, along with an NHS pension. Finance / Payroll Assistant

Birmingham, Full-time, Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £25,582.00 to £28,129.00 per annum (depending on experience), plus NHS pension

We are seeking a self-starter who is self-sufficient, proactive and adaptable, a good communicator and valued team member. You are highly motivated to excel in your role, providing a comprehensive, professional and effective service. You have highly developed organisational and time management skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You have experience of working as a Finance / Payroll Assistant, with sound knowledge & understanding of basic accounting procedures, substantial experience in preparing and processing payroll.
