The role of Band 6 Children's Occupational Therapist with Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fully integrated Occupational Therapy service that spans both health and social care. Based primarily at The Peacock Centre in Cambridge, the therapist will engage with children aged 0-19 who present with a variety of disabilities and developmental delays, delivering care in diverse settings including clinics, schools, and family homes across the county. The position involves managing a personal caseload, supervising junior staff and students, and contributing to the planning and evaluation of the service, all while fostering collaborative relationships within a multi-disciplinary team.

The post holder will utilize evidence-based practices to formulate and implement individual therapy programs, provide training to various stakeholders, and produce necessary documentation for statutory processes. Additionally, responsibilities include participation in professional development, management of junior staff, and involvement in research and development activities to enhance clinical practice within the community.
