The successful applicant will oversee data collection storage, and management processes relating to patients treated within the department of Paediatric cystic fibrosis. The successful candidate will ensure that data input adheres to and maintains the cystic fibrosis registry and Cystic Fibrosis Trust data collection.
The children's cystic fibrosis service is part of the respiratory department at the Great North Children's Hospital. We are a regional centre providing specialist care for approximately 180 children with CF across the North East and Cumbria. We care for children from birth to 16-18 years old when they transfer to adult services. The service consists of a specialist multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, dietitians, pharmacist, physiologists, social worker and administrative staff.

If successful, you will be responsible for liaising with clinical and non-clinical professional staff for the delivery of a high standard of care. Your role will directly impact patient experience and be part of providing seamless delivery of care.
You should be self-motivated, reliable and well organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work efficiently and methodically with good attention to detail without direct supervision. The post holder should be flexible to the needs of the service with a positive and proactive attitude.
The post holder will be required to have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritise workload effectively with excellent attention to detail.
