Change Grow Live is seeking a Service Based Consultant Psychologist in Newham who will provide regional leadership to enhance psychology services and psychosocial interventions for individuals grappling with drug and alcohol-related difficulties. Candidates should be registered Psychologists (Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic) operating at a Consultant level or ready for such a promotion, with experience equivalent to an NHS Band C level. The role emphasises the development and delivery of evidence-based interventions within a multidisciplinary team and requires strong leadership, clinical governance, and continuous professional development.

The Consultant Psychologist will oversee the professional standards in psychological practice, offer expert advice, and ensure high-quality clinical record-keeping. This position calls for a compassionate and inspiring leader who is committed to social justice and equity, capable of adapting models of care to meet the needs of service users. Monthly supervision will be provided by the Head of Psychology and the role is integral to fostering a psychologically informed environment that supports recovery.
