The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Band 4 Pension Officer to join their Pensions team. This role involves supporting the administration of NHS Pension and NEST schemes, providing expert guidance and advice on pension-related matters to employees, managers, and executives. The successful candidate will assist the Pension Team Leader with training, reporting, and the use of electronic systems, as well as ensure the accurate processing of applications, re-enrolments, and pension benefits, while adhering to GDPR regulations.

The position requires a proactive individual capable of managing their own workload independently, contributing to the team's efficiency, and enhancing their knowledge and skills in line with the evolving demands of the role. Previous experience in NHS Pensions is preferred, but relevant experience in other pension schemes may also be considered. The successful applicant will be instrumental in maintaining accurate pension records, calculating redundancy pay, and liaising with the NHS Pensions Agency to address any issues that arise.
