Join Our Caring Community as a Band 7 Occupational Therapist – Community Stroke Rehabilitation
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist ready to make a real difference in the lives of stroke survivors? At Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, we are seeking a compassionate and forward-thinking professional to join our Bromley Stroke Rehabilitation Team (BSRT) on a part-time basis (22.5 hours per week) to cover maternity leave for 12 months. In this pivotal role, you will lead and mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality, client-centred rehabilitation in patients’ homes across Bromley. Your expertise will be key in facilitating early discharges from hyper-acute stroke units, making this role both rewarding and impactful.
As a dynamic team player, you'll work closely with patients, their families, and various multidisciplinary teams to tailor rehabilitation programmes that promote autonomy and well-being. Your experience in neuro-occupational therapy and community settings will allow you to supervise therapy support workers and enhance service development initiatives.
