Wiltshire Council is seeking an Experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Reablement team in Chippenham. This role involves working directly with clients in their homes to enhance their independence and well-being following illness, injury, or hospital admission. Occupational therapists will perform strengths-based assessments and collaborate with clients and their families to create personalized reablement plans aimed at achieving individual goals. The team, which includes occupational therapy assistants and support workers, is led by experienced occupational therapists and offers opportunities for professional development, training, and leadership.

The ideal candidate should be a qualified Occupational Therapist with at least two years of post-qualification experience and must possess a valid UK driver's license for home visits. The Reablement service is a short-term, therapist-led initiative designed to minimize long-term care needs by offering support, advice, and resources to help clients utilize community services effectively.
