The Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking a part-time Catering Team Leader to work within its catering department, initially at City Hospital or Sandwell Hospital, and eventually at the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital. This role requires candidates to have previous supervisory experience in catering, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently. The position involves a shift pattern of 20 hours per week, focusing on the supervision of catering staff, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and maintaining high service standards.

The Catering Team Leader will be responsible for various duties, including cash handling, basic food preparation, cleaning, and operating a barista coffee machine. Flexibility in working hours is necessary, as additional shifts may be needed. Successful applicants will undergo an informal open day followed by a formal interview process. Overall, the role aims to promote best practices within the catering team and contribute positively to the management of catering services.
