The Imaging Appointments Team Leader at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for efficiently processing Imaging referrals using various IT systems to ensure timely appointment scheduling in line with government standards. This role involves collaborating with medical staff to provide accurate examination information, managing the appointment booking process, and overseeing the allocation of resources to meet patient needs.

Additionally, the Team Leader will line manage the Imaging Appointments Team, including off-site colleagues, monitor workload and demands, adapt booking rules, and ensure effective communication regarding patient preparation. The position also entails day-to-day management duties, such as managing annual leave, absences, appraisals, and training, as well as ensuring optimal patient experience by maintaining a well-functioning Call Centre.
