The Ealing Crisis & Home Treatment Team (ECAHTT) are currently offering a Permanent opportunity to a Social Worker, to join the team.
This 9 to 5 role will have a special emphasis around improving access, flow and discharged from the West London Crisis Recovery House (WLCRH). The post entails taking responsibility for assessment and management of service users experiencing a crisis that may, without CAHTT intervention require a hospital admission. These referrals will be coming from a variety of sources (LPS, Inpatient Wards, Community Teams and other CAHT Teams & SPA). You will be dealing with these referrals that have very specific response times and liaising with relevant professionals. You will also have significant managerial & operational responsibility day to day.
CAHTT is a multidisciplinary team. We work closely with Inpatient Services, SPA, MINT, Early Intervention, Social Services, the Police, Statutory and Voluntary agencies. This would be a really exciting time to join the team as the function of the team is changing and the Band 7 Senior Crisis Care Practitioner role is key to these changes.
Regular monthly supervision and reflective practice will be provided. As a Senior Practitioner within the team you will be working shift work 37.5 Hours a week. The post holder should have a variety of significant experience and previous community experience would be ideal.
